• Participated in CALM buoy change out projects for severals projects being the most recent the Djeno Buoy change out in offshore congo for Total Energy.
• the scope of work for this project involved replacing components of a Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) buoy system, which typically includes activities such as subsea hose replacement, anchor and chain replacement, anode replacement, inspection and maintenance of the PLEM (Pipeline End Manifold), overhaul of valves and hydraulic systems, and certification of lifting equipment and the buoy itself.
• Key components and their potential work: Subsea hose replacement typically occurs every 3-5 years due to wear and tear, according to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines.
  Anchoring System: Inspection and replacement of anchor chains, anchors, and mooring hawsers.
  Anodes: Inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes to protect submerged structures from corrosion.
  Mooring Bridle: Removal and calibration of the mooring bridle load pin.
  PLem (Pipeline End Manifold): Disassembly for valve overhaul, reassembly, bolt tensioning, leak testing, and full hydraulic system testing.
  Navigation Aids: Repair and replacement of the navigation aids skid, including the load pin interface.
  Hydraulic System: Commissioning, inspection, and replacement of key components.
  Valves: Function testing, overhaul, and repair of buoy and PLEM valves. Seals and Coatings: Seal replacement for compartment access points, and comprehensive coating repair.
  Lifting Equipment: Inspection, certification, and overhaul of all lifting equipment and lifting points.
  Documentation: Detailed planning, documentation of activities, and final close-out reports

Other Daily responsibilities include:

• Safety of team, HIRA, TBT, PTW conducting all tasks to vessel & client safety standards & requirements.
• Operational planning of all subsea assets being mobilized deployed or recovered in shallow & ultra-deep waters.
• All tooling & equipment pre checks, subsea preparation, ROV assistance, pre & post inspection of lifting gear, rigging preparation for task specific heavy / complex lifts ranging from deployment of Suction Anchors, Well Jumpers, Production & Water Xtree's, PGB, Flow Base, SCM change outs to mention a few.
• Countless heavy lift operations completed subsea, vessel deck and cargo barges.
• Vessel & Cargo transfers, rigging maintenance & inventory.
• Vessel housekeeping, deck planning, safety tours, preparation & intervention, training & supervision of deck team.
• Determined correct rigging requirements for equipment based on job specifications and environmental conditions.
• Rigged for heavy lifts according to blueprint requirements.
