• Responsible for logic changes and maintaining DCS (Distributed Control System) /PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.
• Responsible for implementing changes (MOCs) on Yokogawa Centum VP DCS/ Prosafe RS SIS/ Rockwell & Siemens PLC systems/ other local packages controllers such as CCC, etc...
• Supports production and Maintenance & Reliability teams as first line responder on Instrument and control system issues to maintain reliable plant operations.
• Works directly with DCS operators and control team members to ensure optimal Performance of DCS/PLC systems.
• Support development and implementation of Advanced Process Control strategies towards the optimization of process control and efficiency gains.

• Overall Accountable for safe Execution of Critical field Instrumentation Scopes for Major FPSO Machines such as LM2500 Gas Turbine Generators, Man Tube(CCC controls) Gas Compressors Package
• Review Instrument data sheets, Control narratives, I/O schedules, material requisitions, C&E Test Procedures, Functional Test Procedure, SAT procedure, Network & Dataflow diagram and other project documentation as required.

• Maintenance activities such as troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, modification, and installation of new equipment.
• Maintenance of Telecom & Safety Systems (PAGA, CCTV, VSAT, GMDSS, BAS, Radio Telecom, Marine System, Entertainment, RADAR and Meteorological System, Telephony & Active Directory data network, ACS, Fibre Optic Network).
• Supervises the activities of technicians for preventive maintenance on field instruments.
• Investigate non-conformances and provide technical disposition. Identify the root cause of any technical problems and propose solutions to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Work Permits authorisations for all activities on FPSO related to SIS, F&G, and PCS. Safety system insulation, Risk assessment.
• Functional test for F&G & Safety related systems (SIS, ESD).
• Manage the ICSS backlog of scheduled and unscheduled work order in CMMS (AMOS); create progress and complete/close work orders.
• Prepare reports, analyse data related to automation and control, develop optimal solutions and lead implementation.
• Ensure that the implementation of PM is carried out in planned, organized, and controlled conditions.
• Resolve field technical issues in a timely manner, restore system integrity after PSD \ ESD \ FGS shutdowns.
• DCS & ICSS scopes: Honeywell ICSS (PCS: C300; ESD, SIS, F&G: Safety Manager); Allen Bradley PLC; Siemens (Step 7, TIA, PCS7); Triconex; Yokogawa SIS: HIPPS (High Integrity Pressure Protection System); Bentley Nevada; Woodward PLC; HIMA PLC, F&G; Autronica F&G FDAS.

• Provided application and control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity to support capital plant and maintenance engineering projects.
• Prepared and presented detailed test reports for executive management and engineering teams as required for Major Projects for onshore Base, SCADA control systems.
• Preventive Maintenance on different control systems Equipment (APACS DCS, Allen Bradley PLC Controllogix & Slick500) installed in different Offshore Platforms and Well Jackets located in Block 0.
• New and Existing Project Development, PLC Programing and HMI Programing, and Wirings, Instrument data sheets, Control narratives, I/O schedules, material requisitions, C&E Test Procedures, Functional Test Procedure, SAT procedure, Network & Dataflow diagram and other project documentation as required.

• Analyze test results, plant error massage and information from operators and control systems (Honeywell TDC 3000 PCS & Honeywell Fail Safe Controler) in order to diagnose equipment problems related to Catalyst Cracking Unit, Merox, Alkylation, Vise Breaker, CO Boilers, Reactors, tank Farms, Penex.
• Machine Monitoring System Troubleshooting and repair for Steam Driven Gas Turbine, using Bentley Nevada 3500.
• Maintenance, installation and calibration of control equipment electronic & Pneumatic as: control valve, Pressure, level and flow transmitter, Pressure regulators, Relief valves.
• Worked on Refinery shut down (Major TAR) and startups, commissioning and
• Decommissioning of multiple refinery units. This included completing all corrective maintenance and shutdown activities by instrumentation section in shutdown, Trip testing in all the trip equipment in majority of the Refinery Units.
• Experience on Tank Gauging systems such as Honeywell Enraf – Servo type and radar type.
