Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance
Clean interior of the building, as well as machinery and equipment, and exterior of the building
Complete administrative duties, such as filling out forms and reporting maintenance statuses to supervisor
Comply with all safety and health regulations
Keep inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to supervisor
Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors
Supervise and manage a team of drivers and dispatchers, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and within budget.
Prepare and maintain transportation schedules and routes for drivers.
Monitor driver and vehicle logs and schedules to ensure compliance with regulations.
Ensure that all vehicles are properly serviced and maintained.
Resolve any issues or problems that arise during the transportation process, including accidents or delays.
Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company standards.
Manage the budget for the transportation department and make recommendations for cost-saving measures.
Provide training and development opportunities for drivers and dispatchers.
Preparing work orders, making repairs to equipment, and maintaining logs of all maintenance activities
Performing routine oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance tasks on vehicles
Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies by ordering replacements as needed
Operating cranes, forklifts, and other equipment used for moving materials around a work site
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning engines and changing oil
Communicating with other team members regarding the status of projects
Repairing small mechanical problems such as leaky hoses or faulty wiring
Explaining technical information to other members of the team or clientele about repair processes
