Core Leadership & Operational Responsibilities

- Operations Oversight: Directing daily storage, receiving, and dispatch activities across regional yards or project bases.

- Inventory Control: Managing systematic tracking of spare parts, tools, and consumable materials to ensure high project accuracy.

- Compliance & Safety: Enforcing corporate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and quality rules across all site activities.

Coordination & Logistics Management

- Material Verification: Overseeing the inspection of incoming goods for conformity, damage, or quantity discrepancies against purchase orders and technical drawings.

- Cross-Department Link: Communicating with procurement, project management, and local transport vendors to streamline supply chains.

- Resource Planning: Managing warehouse personnel, equipment maintenance, and layout optimization

Inventory and Stock Control

- Track stock levels and run regular cycle counts.

- Update digital databases and ERP inventory records.

- Reconcile physical inventory with system data.

Shipping and Receiving

- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming carrier shipments.

- Pick, pack, and label outgoing orders accurately.

- Match packing slips to manifests and documentation.

Operations and Safety

- Operate material handling tools like forklifts and pallet jacks.

- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free storage bays.

- Follow strict corporate health and safety rules

Inventory and Stock Control

- Receive and issue parts, tools, and equipment to various rig departments.

- Maintain stock levels of critical spare parts and consumables for continuous rig operations.

- Conduct physical inventory audits and monthly cycle counts of the offshore warehouse.

- Secure the warehouse at all times and strictly restrict unauthorized personnel access.

Requisition and Procurement Support

- Prepare material requisitions and purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.

- Liaise with department heads to ensure technical specifications and descriptions are accurate.

- Track purchase orders and expedite urgent parts with the shore-based office.

- Report non-conformance regarding incorrect, damaged, or poor-quality materials supplied.

Logistics and Shipping Coordination

- Manage cargo manifests and paperwork for all incoming and outgoing goods.

- Coordinate backloads of drilling or rig equipment with the Deck Foreman for return onshore.

- Organize equipment repairs by documenting shipments sent back to the main base.

- Handle dangerous goods safely and strictly enforce local customs rules and environmental laws.

Reporting and Administration

- Update ERP software (such as SAP or Maximo) with material transactions and delivery updates.

- Distribute manifest copies and certifications to appropriate rig department heads.

- Generate periodic reports concerning inventory value, stock usage, and shipping timelines.

Team Leadership & Management

- Supervise Personnel : Lead, direct, and train a specialized team of Storekeepers, Material Specialists, and forklift operators.

- Performance Monitoring : Manage daily shift schedules, conduct annual performance reviews, and implement personnel policies.

- Talent Development : Coach warehouse staff on technical inventory competencies and career advancement pipelines.

Inventory & Materials Control

- Transaction Auditing : Oversee the receiving, storing, issuing, and digital tracking of high-value oilfield equipment.

- WMS Management : Ensure data integrity within the global Warehouse Management System (like SAP or Oracle).

- System Reconciliation : Lead regular cycle counts and full physical stock audits to minimize discrepancies.

- Order Closure : Track open purchase orders to guarantee physical products match systemic financial intake.

Logistics & Inbound/Outbound Operations

- Dispatch Coordination : Organize transport schedules to deliver materials to active oil blocks and offshore rigs timely.

- Space Optimization : Layout storage yards efficiently to accommodate specialized chemical containers, drill pipes, and heavy tools.

- Cross-Functional Liaison : Coordinate directly with SLB Product Lines, local procurement, and third-party transport companies.

HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Compliance

- Enforce SLB Standards : Maintain zero-accident metrics by executing standard Schlumberger safety, hazard mitigation, and hygiene rules.

- Regulatory Adherence : Ensure operations align with local Angolan maritime/oilfield handling legislation and international standards.

- Equipment Inspections : Oversee routine maintenance and certification checks for heavy machinery, lifting gear, and forklifts.
