In the WFP Angola Country Office (CO), I am the Lead for the management of the Country Office Monitoring and Evaluation Tool (COMET), Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Cooperating Partner (CP) Management
As a Programme Associate and M&E focal point, I support the Programme Unit in ensuring data integrity in COMET by providing training to the Field Office colleagues and leading monthly data reconciliation between COMET and the Logistics Execution Support System (LESS) focal points
I also support the CO with guidance on monitoring requirements for all activities, according to the WFP Corporate Results Framework (CRF), during the design and implementation phases of the operations
I also support the CO with leading all M&E related activities such as the Annual Performance Plan (APP) and the Annual Country Report (ACR)
I support the CO with the rollout of the new UN cooperate CP selection platform, the UN Partner Portal
I lead and coordinate the tender process, or Calls for Expression of Interests (CFEIs), and supporting the Programme Officers with the preparations for presentation of the selected project proposals to the regional Cooperating Partner Committee (CPC) for endorsement.

I managed the WFP Field Office in Dundo, as the acting Field Office Coordinator
In total, I supervised three colleagues, including a Logistics Assistant and two drivers
My responsibilities also included assisting in the selection of new staff, conducting periodical performance evaluation for staff and the local WFP NGO implementing partner
I monitored the implementing partner’s field activities and guided them to adhere to UN guidelines for humanitarian assistance, as well as donor standards
I continued to lead the partnership or contract negotiations between WFP and its NGO partner for the refugee response in Dundo, as well as presenting the project proposal to the regional Cooperating Partner Committee (CPC), for review and endorsements

As Angola’s focal point for Country Monitoring and Evaluation Tool (COMET), I performed data entry into COMET for activity planning and implementation in the country
I supported the Angola Country Office in preparing corporate reports, periodical operational and donor reports
I supervised and monitored the monthly food distribution operations conducted by WFP’s implementing partner
I also acted as Officer in Charge, in the absence of the Field Office Coordinator
I was promoted to Programme Associate, effective as of October 2019.
As the Asset and Inventory Coordinator for Tubular Running Services (TRS), I was responsible for the data entry and materials management (assets and inventory) found both offshore and onshore
Identified and corrected product listings issues to ensure proper product location, description, classification, and part number
I raised all purchase requests, and followed-up to delivery, for equipment and services in JDE
Generated accurate JDE Delivery Tickets/Cargo Manifests for all equipment sent offshore
Coordinated with local and regional asset and inventory integrity controllers, to plan, track and conduct cycle counts for TRS Cabinda
Led a team of 20 technicians in conducting asset and inventory counts; as well as search and identify slow moving inventory and inactive assets, to reduce on hand levels through transfers, disposals, sales, and write-offs
Worked with the Supply Chain team (Procurement, Logistics and Warehousing) to identify and reconcile data reported from the cycle counts.
