• Capabilities to understand process logic blocks, complex loops, cascade controllers and ratio control loops.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor, control and troubleshoot oil and gas, LPG and water injection plants through DCS.
• Strong knowledge on DCS Yokogawa Centum VP. Works directly with the Control Systems Specialist in reviewing platform overall Start-Up & ESD philosophy based on Safe Operating Procedures.
• Knowledge of API RP 14C & 30 CFR regulations and SIL 1/2/3 on offshore production facilities. (Oil, Gas processing & compression).
• Proven safety behaviors, and a thorough knowledge of pertinent SWP's related to Production operations, such as: Work Permitting, JSA, LOTO, Start-Work-Checks and Save-Your-Life-Actions, Crane, Rigging and Lifting operations, Confined Space Entry and MOC. Knowledge of "incident Command System" for emergency response management.
• Demonstrated aptitude in writing and reviewing operating procedures with fluency in English and Portuguese. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with management and customers.
