  • Reviewing and endorse the welding/Painting procedures submitted by sub-contractors for the client final approval including quality plans, ITP, method of statement & NDE procedures etc.
  • Reviewing vendor quality dossiers, material certificates, material traceability and confirm key quality control items and fabrication procedures.
  • Preparing weekly QC reports and attending fabrication and meeting with Project Engineer, Subcontractor & client
  • Co-ordinating subcontractor/client to resolve query on site.
  • Mainly in Welding/Painting, NDE, testing, welding procedures and welder qualifications, independent quality integrity verification and documentation reviews & approval
  • Witnessing of PMI of Corrosion Resistant Alloys (CRA) materials
  • Monitoring the Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) piping activities.
  • Monitor the Welding/Painting consumable handling on site and consumable store according to the approved Procedure & consumable list including consumable test reports/valid certificates.
  • Inspection during corrosion protection activities of Blasting and Painting applications such as ambient conditions, assessment of surface condition, reviewing the release documentation prior to painting.
  • Witnessing of Painting Qualification Test including grit conductivity test prior to start any new project work & also for new batch received.
  • Witnessing of PQT topcoat DFT measurement & Pull-off Test.
  • Witnessing of MEK test on Zinc Painting prior to next coat
  • Witnessing of sub-contractor Pipeline Induction Heat (PIH) Production Testing- Heat Profile testing, Peel-off Testing& Field Joint Coating of induction Heat with primer and HSS FJC & High voltage holiday testing completed FJC.
  • Monitoring all Subcontractor company Painting activities
  • Evaluating project quality index on monthly basis
